Ehhh....i think with the amount of cars in the world this could play onto a lot of car models out there.

But I don't really see it. I'm a bigger detail person, so noticing the gill vents and the cutback c-pillar makes it hard to agree for me.

Those cars don't really look alike.

These cars do look alike.

Thought from the small pic that the top one was an Impala. Expanded the pic to see it was the red one. Damn.

Agreed. Fascia is obviously different, even from a side view. The greenhouse is shorter and longer. Character "lines"for the kia are gentle curves while the WRX uses very sculpted, abrupt curves and hard edges to form its character lines. Plus the wheel arches obviously show the WRX's intent to have the wheel conained within instead of a look that says "riding on top of the wheels" like it was drawn by a 10 year old like on the Kia.

Yes, silhouettes are shared nowadays. Guess what? You have aerodynamics to thank/blame for that. The details are where a car truly gains its identity.

The Hyundai looks more like a bar of used soap than the WRX. I see what you're going for, but the greenhouses have pretty much nothing in common. Also, it seems all the "subtle" features are more pronounced on the Subaru. They just shouldn't have used silver as the color for the unveiling.
